Photography is like a kaleidoscope: constantly changing shape and color, finding new form and meaning. For this project I explored forgotten paths and experimented with framing reality, the glitch, repetition and archives.
In ‘Shattered Land’ I have literally framed reality. The fragmented and combined image is documenting a change and at the same time making a statement. Truth or one version of it?
‘The spirit of Falla’ is a visual exploration of imperfection. What is hidden in the blurriness? What sparks our imagination?
‘Warm Winter Days’ puts my daily routines in the spotlight to find out if gathering and capturing a repetitive action can transcend the normality of the everyday. The act itself was a process of slowing down.
‘Forgotten archive, the abandoned house’ captures a memory that has materiality. It is a snapshot of someone’s life frozen in time. A tangible personal archive, made up of objects.
