I grew up in the Netherlands, close to the forest. I spent hours exploring new paths between the trees, listening to the silence and admiring the colorful splendor. I love the vastness of the landscape, the detailed lines and patterns of nature and the ever-changing light.
My interests led me to study earth sciences. Before I started as a photographer I worked as a consultant in the field of water management and climate for many years. With my photography I want to tell the stories of the landscape: its history, the natural forces and the people that shaped it. In 2024 I moved to Sweden. Here, surrounded by nature, it is the perfect place for outdoor photography.
